| 27 — 30 June | Option 1: Using Gonubie Hotel as home base, visit CATCH, the township outreach program; visit Gqunube Green Ecovillage across the Gonubie River, go on day trips (at your own cost) with Edgeworld Tours to see the historic and cultural sites of the Greater East London area. Travel with Mr. Rob Prentis, a retired school principal. He offers "fairly comprehensive tours of the Frontier region of the Eastern Cape, providing not only historical perspectives, but also a wealth of information about people, the politics of the land, the roots of apartheid, fauna, flora, geological insight, an assortment of comfortable, but very different types of accommodation and an interaction with ordinary South Africans across the racial spectrum." |

| 30 June, Monday p.m. | Arrive at Gqunube Green Ecovillage for 4 nights a. Learn about Gqunube Green ecovillage and the Tricircle Program in which a tricircle church links Christian spirituality with sustainable development through an eco-liturgical worship. Discover how a herd of Nguni cattle links worship with sound land management practices. Work on some volunteer projects on the ecovillage. b. Continue at C.A.T.C.H. over three mornings, an exciting ministry in the Gonubie township. Brianne Vincent, for her senior project at Cascade High School will be raising funds to support a youth soccer program at CATCH. The serv-fari 2008 team will deliver the funds, volunteer in various CATCH projects, and build relationships with people who are a part of this project. |

| 4 July, Thursday p.m. | Depart for Great Fish Game Reserve for 3 nights a. Enjoy game drives, the Mvubu Lodge overlooking the Fish River, a river walk to see hippopotami and evenings in an African boma around the fire. Possibly visit with the senior game ranger about the management plan to develop the reserve in a way that benefits the surrounding Xhosa population and how the Tricircle Program might assist this process.
